Devi

Devi has grown so much since i last posted. It has been a crazy year for her and I . She has really grown as an artist in my opinion and i believe me i realize that i am her mom and that anything she draws i think is awesome. But really she loves to draw and and has been getting better and better. She drew a princess the other day for me and it has a crown and shoes and you could actually tell that it was a princess. I was impressed. I got her a lot of art stuff for December and she has been getting really into it. I want to post some pictures of her latest paintings to post. She is also starting to really articulate her emotions with me which is making things a lot easier. She is not getting as frustrated with me. A new thrift store opened up by my work called 'Our Store" all the proceeds go to helping people with HIV and AIDS, Devi wants to stop there every night on the way home. I gave in the other night and we found a Rainbow Bright doll!!! It was made before i was even born and still in very good shape. She loves it. So the other night we dyed her hair rainbow colors so she could be more rainbow bright like. I am kinda jealous it turned out way good! I want rainbow hair now. I will come back tonight to post some new pictures. She is getting so big now. Skruffy is going crazy staying in so much. He has not been outside since it startd snowing. He just looks outside and cries.... He really loved the turkey i brought him home though. So turkey for skruffy for the win!!

Tug, Skruf, & Devi

So my cats finally have microchips and are up to date on there shots. It actually was not too bad. I thought they would for sure freak out at the vets office but they didn't and all is well. I still have to registrar my cats in the national database but that will not be too bad. I am just relieved that they finally have chips and they will not get lost forever. People have a tendency to take Skruffy as a stray and want to feed him. I am constantly finding food left out for him. Everyone knows who he is. Devi is doing okay she is actually listening to me and has gone 4 days using the potty all the time. I am breathing a huge sigh of relief and at the same time knocking on wood! Do i dare think that this might be it? And she has rainbow hair just like her mom now.

FARMERS MARKET / light cover crazy.

So the farmers market opened today and we were so excited!!! I <3 the farmers market. Devi was really excited to get a cupcake from the mini cupcake people but they were not there so we settled for a Belgian waffle. and she got a snowie. The bike valet was so full they coulden't park our bike. which i think kicks ass that so many people were biking! I got devi a bike collective shirt that is really cute. We got our first share. It was kale, collards, and some mini garlic that smells awesome. I was going to get some mushrooms from the Gnome Grown mushrooms but they left before i could. GRRRR i was really looking forward to that. I now have a cover for every switch in our house and mike bought some to send to his mom Check it out. They rock!!

Our new hair is so cool!!! You can't tell but mine is purple. Devi's is orange.

Dead Bunny

Devi got a new dead bunny today and she loves it. walking home i was trying to hold devis hand and she kept giving me the bunnies hand to hold too. She was talking about it and all of a sudden she said talking through the bunny mind you. Remember darcy no talking to suspicious bunnies. I laughed so freaking hard. It was really funny. We are in the middle of hair dye. Devi will soon have orange hair and i will have purple! Pictures soon!
