Easter

Yes that is right easter. I dont keep up this blog very well and since i almost never take photos unless it is a sleep over night i am going to do 3 updates tonight starting with zombie jesus day. I had the boys over that night and we did easter eggs. How traditional of me right? we did some very cool eggs, and the next night when dev was over at the boys house they got to hide them in their really cool yard and look for them. So anyway a lot happened that night. We did eggs and drew pictures and i got to see Micheal direct plays. We listened to Sigur Ros to try to calm down the crazy kids and Most of all we had some fun!!! Which is what matters most right? I think so... I got to use black and white on my camera which i dont get to do often enough. I really love black and white. I got some really good shots of the kids that night! I think they look really good anyway. I took a lot of photos. Here some are........ This was also the first apperence of the super hero team. POWER KIDS UNITE!!! So in this super hero team there is WIND BOY played by the 'leader' Micheal and BUTTERFLY GIRL played by non other then Devi and BABY BOX BOY played by the very cute Eli. (i guess he is just called box baby) (eli gives the best hugs!!!) So i had super hero kids in my home that night and got see them in action. So here is some videos of them in action.... I guess the 'bad' guy is this teddy bear named evil pronounced E vile. It is really funny to watch them fight E vile. according to micheal evil happens a lot at his house...... So Cute!!! Sorry the last video is so dark. It was night and the lights in my apartment were not helping the filming. You get the idea though.... These kids are so imaginative. It is crazy. How did we get such cool original kids?

Devis New Hair! And The OC!

So Devis babysitters are amazing! One plays guitar with her and cool music and video games, the other hooked her up with her aunt that tutors preschoolers in reading and writing skills, and she cuts hair and is super good with kids. I mean what a score right? They are really awesome!! I am super lucky to have them. Plus they have pets so Dev is in heaven! So Devi has this horid habit of eatting her hair. It is gross her hair was getting way gross and just ewww. So some how the amazing babysitter got devi to sit still long enough to cut her hair. How she accomplished this feat still is a mystery to me, seeing as how devi will not even let me comb her hair. It turned out super cute and Devi is happy with it, She thinks she looks like Lucy from the first new Narnia movie. I am happy and the Devi is happy. All is well. DEVI GOT INTO THE OPEN CLASSROOM!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! I cant wait for her to start. I have been holding my breath for months waiting to see. I think she is going to thrive in this school. And i cant wait to be a parent there. I am a bit worried because of the cost of all day kindergarden and the fact that workforce will not help pay for aftercare since it is not a "Daycare". I wanted to scream at them, it is a public school you already support and pay them. I know she was ment to go to this school so it will work itself out. I just have to figure out how to get her from school 3 days a week, that is all no big deal right? We will see.

Volcanos and the army.

So I found these 2 movies that are from Mike and Devi making the bubbly explosion. :) I thought I would share them as well. Since Dev is so cute in them! I think it is really cute that he got all into it with asking her what she thinks will happen when they do what and all that, its like she is in a class or something. Too cute!! Okay so in other news a story i find funny as hell and think needs to be immortalize for the rest of days. There is this person I know kinda through my girls babysitters, he is leaving for the army and they are seeing him off. Devi's just chilling in the room hanging out on her DS when apparently she looks up from playing her game to inform the drill Sargent and all the other people there that they are all assholes. Yeah that's right my girl at 5 had the moxy to tell a drill Sargent that he is an asshole. I think 2 things about this. That it is awesome and that she needs to learn that it is not appropriate. I just wanted to her too be able to read about this when she is older and know she is awesome and most definitely a tough girl!!

Okay

So i am really bad at keeping this thing updated. So let me make up with all the stuff i have been wanting to post for the last 3 months. So Devi turned 5 and we got together with my sister and with Eli and Michael. Devi and the boys went to the zoo and we followed that up with swimming at the aquatic center. Then we had pizza and cake at the boys house. It was a very full yet very fun day! My ex Mike had a fun day with her in February, i could not find a sitter for Devi so he took her for me and they built volcano's! They went to the store to buy dinosaurs and army men and did the old school dough, baking soda and vinegar volcano's. It was awesome. They worked very hard on it and it looked like a blast. I totally missed out. So it is now March almost April and me and Devi have been living in our own apartment for almost a month. I really like it, We had the second sleep over so far with Eli and Michael and this one went way better then the first one did. We did face painting today after playing at the playground. They look way cool. If i do say so myself. They also made a fort out of Devi's room as always. That is what you get with boys right? Michael informed me that it is a secret hideout, not a fort. Here are the results of the 'secret hideout'. So I am going to really work on keeping this updated better so i am not doing three months in one go. Also there will be pictures of my new place up soon. As well as the volcano video!! See how is that fiery excitement? Anyway i will be back posting soon. I promise.

Devi's Art...

Devi

Devi has grown so much since i last posted. It has been a crazy year for her and I . She has really grown as an artist in my opinion and i believe me i realize that i am her mom and that anything she draws i think is awesome. But really she loves to draw and and has been getting better and better. She drew a princess the other day for me and it has a crown and shoes and you could actually tell that it was a princess. I was impressed. I got her a lot of art stuff for December and she has been getting really into it. I want to post some pictures of her latest paintings to post. She is also starting to really articulate her emotions with me which is making things a lot easier. She is not getting as frustrated with me. A new thrift store opened up by my work called 'Our Store" all the proceeds go to helping people with HIV and AIDS, Devi wants to stop there every night on the way home. I gave in the other night and we found a Rainbow Bright doll!!! It was made before i was even born and still in very good shape. She loves it. So the other night we dyed her hair rainbow colors so she could be more rainbow bright like. I am kinda jealous it turned out way good! I want rainbow hair now. I will come back tonight to post some new pictures. She is getting so big now. Skruffy is going crazy staying in so much. He has not been outside since it startd snowing. He just looks outside and cries.... He really loved the turkey i brought him home though. So turkey for skruffy for the win!!
